Win 7 DTS

Trying to see if I can switch from Windows Media Center to XBMC. I have optical SP/DIF from my PC to my Onkyo receiver but it does not detect DTS like it does from my Media Center which is on the same machine with same configuration. I have tested movies with several different audio formats from my Media Center and the Onkyo properly detects the audio encoding and switches between 5 different audio formats. With XBMC as the source all but Dolby-D are detected as THX which is the default if no specific audio encoding is found. There is no 5.1 surround sound either as far as I can tell.

Also noticed that the installed video and audio decoders are not being engaged. This could be the problem but I can't find any setting to specify XBMC to use the decoders I have which work great with all my other media players.

XBMC doesn't use any codecs installed on Windows.
