Guide Problems

I have found a couple of times that the guide data runs out if I don't launch Media Centre once in a while (I think that is the issue). Is this a known problem at all and something that could be fixed with a scheduled task? If it happens I just launch Media Center and go into settings then choose to get latest guide listings, after a while everything is peachy again.

Can you check your wmc settings to see if its set to automatically download data? In my case the wmc service downloads data once a day, but in my area the guide is an internet download. Does your guide data come from an internet download or from the tv connection itself?

The guide data is sent along with the TV signal via DVB Link software. I had a quick look inside Media Center, navigated to - Settings > General > Automatic Download Options. In there it is set to Automatically download Windows Media Center data but has it start and stop at 0:00. Is that the same as yours?

I gave it a 6 hour Window and it did try to download right away so maybe this was the issue?
