[FIXED] Playing the wrong audio track
#1
I'm using the latest DVBviewer/RS. When using the DVBviewer addon feeding from favourites.xml, I have configured a FTA channel offering multiple audio tracks (EuroNews). However, I'm getting the default audio (German) instead of the desired one (Spanish). Under "appearances" I've set up all the UI, preferred audio and subtitles to Spanish, but it doesn't help. Neither changing the addon setting to RTSP streaming

Checking back and re-adding the favourite from DVBviewer's channel list, the favourites.xml entry seems right on for the Spanish track:

<entry name="6">2359890891784944116|EuroNews (spa)</entry>

I have no problems with that entry in DVBviewer itself (talking to the RS, via "DVB-S2 RTSP Network device"). So it seems XBMC related.

Have checked this in Frodo and Gotham.

Any hidden setting across the line I'm unaware of?

Got an insightful response that fixed the audio language issue.

The channel referenced in the favourites is only used to search in the full list. So the full list is what matters.

The trick's in DVBviewer:
- Enter Channel list Editor and drag the desired channel up to the root of the transponder tree.
- Save and restart RS.
- Channel's now in the desired/chosen language in favourites.xml.
