Hi,

Have been running Arch Linux (rolling release distro) with the XBMC app installed for years. I wanted to ask if there were any benefits to running XBMCbuntu instead? Is the XBMC app packaged within XBMCbuntu more stable or up-to-date? (I am aware of the OpenELEC distro and run it on an Rpi in the bedroom but I prefer having access to a full OS on my main HTPC in the living room.)

ubuntu in general is the reference linux and as such you can encounter new and exciting bleeding edge bugs in libraries used in arch. other than that, nope.
