I am a total novice at coding anything - bear with me experts, I can barely open my garage door from the pad thingy outside.
Need help with my first add-on whose purpose is to display at least recent (if not all) episodes of an Armenian soap opera. These episodes are originally posted on youtube.com and rutube.ru by the network that produces it and then sites like armlook.com and hayerov.tv (to name a couple) embed them in an admittedly nicer format. The only resource I was able to find online to help me accomplish this was Abed's blog at http://xbmc-plugin-dev.blogspot.com/p/home.html which, in several different posts does seek to accomplish the creation of a similar add-on. His work. Mine doesn't.

I created the addon.xml file, the icon.png and fanart.jpg, the default.py and util.py and copied to my addons folder in the xbmc folder on my laptop (Win7). When I run XBMC it displays all addon info, fanart and icon beautifully but when I click on it, nada... I have tried a million different things but cannot get it to build any sort of menu or play a video.

I am asking for help from anyone who knows this language and can help me bring this addon to life. I'm sure for one of you out there this is a piece of cake.

The below addon solves the problem. Thanks to whoever created it, it displays all the media available on armlook.com which is ultimately what I was looking for when I originally posted this.
