I would like to request that new threads in the "Announcements" forum be closed by default. There is another forum for discussions and it's obviously the wrong place for bug reports and support requests. I like being able to get notices for new releases, etc. But I really don't want to get flooded with emails because a few people can't follow simple instructions about where to post support questions.
