I had not switched on SW de-interlacing up to now. Have switched it on in the mean time but cannot really see much of any difference. I am quite happy with the picture quality of my NUC D34010WYK.

I've gone down the chrombox (HP) route and am mightily impressed. Not tested everything yet but TV and full blurays with HD audio seem to work no problem. No dropped frames or anything. More testing to be done but looks spot on.
