I'm just wondering will this cause any problems to my old xbmc and if possible how would I load the new kodi software on to my android mx2 box.
Also anyone know off any apps that are similar to mashup please let me know as I'm going to miss the way it's easy to use. Ice films is to long winded

NO talk about piracy addons in here. Move over to the places where you got these addons from in order to talk about stuff like that.

As for the update - we're handling data migration just fine for every platform - so your XBMC profile folder will be moved to the new location Kodi is epecting it to be in case we detect an old XBMC installation.
