you would need a pvr backend and then the matching pvr plugin/addon
e.g. TVheadend server and client and a DVB-C card
Backend: Asrock N3150 with Ubuntu 22.04 Server with TvHeadend
Living Room: Nvidia Shield with Kodi
Other Kodi Clients: Coreelec, Mibox, Windows

You could use the USTVNow addon to get all of those channels via streaming, but you would need a paid subscription. They have a free subscription, but it only includes the network affiliates (ABC/NBC/CBS/FOX/PBS/CW/MyTV)
(I'm assuming that addon can be mentioned here, since it's not a "pirate" service.)

There is an Haddon called ustvnow that is legal ustvnow.com and it has networks, my9 and cw for free or sign up and you can stream 28 cable channels and get limited DVR in the cloud. I played with it but honestly didn't like it to much not HD and for that price i might as well get some cheap family pack from cable or something
Great idea and honestly i think we are headed that way in the near future. And in all honesty would think it would be cheaper to stream live tv then up over a satellite
