Audio out of sync, too far out of sync for audio offset to fix, please help

I am using a Mbox u-m8 s802 box, xbmc version 14.0, I want to install 13.2 as more stable with the system, but as I say in the topic the audio is miles out of sync with the video, any help much appreciated.
