After a lot of googling and finding lots of advice that seems to be outdated, I thought I'd ask here...

I run xbmc on my iMac and would like to add my iTunes library... what's the easiest way to do this? Can I have xbmc read straight from the library files (that would be ideal for me) or do I have to add my music folder as a source and have it scrap the file.

Any advice you really be appreciated, thanks.

I don't mess with iTunes much anymore, but it's my understanding that Kodi cannot read your iTunes db file. You would have to add them as a source. You may be able to import the playlists as M3U files though. I'm sure a google search would show a few threads.
