I've installed the 13.2 android vesion available on my galaxy tab S but when I try to watch videos, some formats seem to crash xbmc, like wmv, flv , even some avi when the in built video player handle them flawlessly.

Is this a known issue or is it the result of a corrupt installation ?

I don't believe it is any common issue, so it is likely a bug, for which we would need more information.

ok,, what kind of information do you need ?

that's odd, because the debug log supposedly stored at storage/emulated/0/android/data/org.xbmc.xbmc/files/xbmc/temp/xbmc.log isn't there... In fact the directory named "files" is empty...

At least the debug log (wiki), but the more details the better :)

a search returns no file and I can't finf that debug log...

Got it as this is hidden files and folders... I'll post it on xbmclogs

Are you playing this natively in xbmc/kodi or through an add-on?

Please ignore this post. Didn't read it right.

You might want to post the log to pastebin since xbmclogs.com is down and no one can open your link.

Try disabling mediacodec under Settings -> Videos -> Acceleration

Unfortunately, we'd need a logcat (wiki) to investigate further.
