What happen without hw accel?

Memphiz, same issue here as the screenshot in post#30 when playing MPEG2 TV recordings...
This was not present in Helix Beta3

The latest nightly d/l dated 20141129 has fixed my top of screen video compression issues when playing back mpeg2 files.

Other movies appear normal as well.
