xbmc reading movies in another directory
#1
hi,

newbie here. hope someone can assist here Smile

I have a mac mini connected to a time capsule. all the movies are stored in time capsule. Whenever i try to play a movie it says "file not found" error.

Looking further, i found that within xbmc the original folder location (Data) is empty and there is a new folder called Data-1. All the movies can be seen under Data-1 folder however if you browse through MAC, there is no Data-1 folder.

How can I remove Data-1 folder and make the Data folder as the movie collection folder again?

Thanks!

I would delete Data since its empty anyway. Just highlight that source and open the Contextual Menu (press c) then select Delete. Once that source has been deleted you can highlight Data1 and rename it in the Contextual Menu. Just select Edit Source to change the name. The names are arbitrary and do not necessarily represent a physical folder. You could name them Fred and George if you wanted.Smile
