Is this what I was referring to with the added/changed icons? If so, I'd definitely explore this skin again.

My input (to this point) would be an option to change the bottom text line from extra info to tagline to genre in all views. And also an option to include or not include the number of votes an IMDB ranking gets. This info is useless to me and I find it's never accurate anyways. I can scrape a movie 4 times and get 4 vastly different number of votes.

I've not delved much further into the skin thus far but 2 questions I keep having regarding XBMC/Kodi or the skins are a) can there be more than 6 smart playlists and b) where do I turn off the annoying 3D format notification when XBMC/Kodi switches 3D modes? I'm sure both or program related but I can never get an answer short of "well why don't you learn how to code and do it yourself" to which I reply I don't have the time to learn to write an entire program only to dig into and existing one to change 2 things that's why I ask those who know the code like the back of their hand for help pointing me to where I need to begin to look.

Anyways, I do like some of the changes but those icons really stuck out in a negative for me. If they can be reverted then I'm on board. And of course if I like what you've done or not I still appreciate someone working on it.

Perhaps there needs to be a complete overhaul of the Nox naming system to save confusion for people. Of all the skins I've played with Aeon Nox is by far the best design, layout and asthetic and what got me into XBMC from the very beginning. It was hard to watch it get passed over for various reasons during Gotham as nothing else compared to what it offered. the only other thing I didn't check out on this version was the plot and actor info on the info screen when playing a movie.

Also noticed last night when using disc art on the info screen it's re-located to the top of the poster which just looks odd. There had been a mod/fix to move the spinning disc to the right side of the poster which looks far better and makes the info box less wide and more attractive.

Is it possible if you could do a button ( option in the GUI) to switch between the 2 modes then everyone will be happy !

The effect is supposed to be the disc spinning out the side of the case. At the top it just looks dumb. Your opinion that it looks better but I recall when it was done that way before many asked and thanked for it to be on the right. It becomes a wasted featue and the info box is so fricken wide the text loks tiny. Overal using both these features in this skin are aesthetically unpleasing. Like I said in my first post here tons of person mods that take away what made the skin great to begin with.

well, i think the disc on the right side would be a nice touch, but we should be realy thankfull that we will get a nice working Aeon Nox Mod for Helix with all the nice eyecandy stuff working in it (movie Set mod, movie Info color mod, icon change etc...)
i think the guys who are working on this ( and i know that wasnt easy, after all the people are working on this code and leave their stuff behind ) can need a short break now (after the final release please Wink

)
maybe after the holidays they will try what they can, to make us happy with new goodies or fixes or updates.
For now " I " must say, that i am realy happy with the situation i have so far Smile

Hi. I'm new to Kodi but I'm already loving it and this skin. I have installed it and tried for a couple of hours to make it work, but I seem to be missing something. Do I need any specific addons to make things like CDart and Logo to work? Extendedinfo? Artwork Downloader? How do I find out what versions of addons are needed?

Appreciate your work on the skin. Why the changes to Wall view in Videos? It seems to have been based on the Nox 5 Icons view before BigNoid fixed it instead of warlion's far more usable Wall view. I'll just repeat the relevant part of the message I wrote him:

actually the idea of the Wall View comes from the Rapier skin. There is no fix needed; you have a preference and the feature isn't available in this modded version.
