I've been unable to find anything so far but I want to be able to add a menu item (running Aeon MQ5 on Gotham 13.2) that will manually launch the screen saver.
So I think I'm looking for an addon or something that will launch the ActivateScreensaver function of xbmc.

i just tested it. mapped a menu item with <onclick>ActivateScreensaver</onclick>. worked just fine.

Ah, I got there by adding something similar to favourites.xml in userdata and linking a custom menu item to that.
Is there a better way to access the custom menu in Aeon MQ5 that you know?
I found the very bottom menu and added the same to that, but unable to find the other custom menus.
