Linux MCE Remote R3610 Revo - Cant power the bugger on!!
#1
Hi all,

Its been a while since ive been back here as my revo has been working really well! I reset my password and im shocked to see my first post on how to setup the revo has hit 717,658 views!!!!!!

I have setup this before, but things may have changed and ive spent two hours searching!!

I have an official Microsoft receiver, a harmony one remote and a revo r3610..
Can anyone please tell me how I can power this up from the remote?
I have followed my old guide an enabled USB2 to wake up and tried the reciever in each usb port. No good

Can anyone please help me out? Im on the latest live install.

Is there a BIOS setting?

Thanks for the reply. I have all the BIOS Settings set as i should, i have also managed to get it to WOL from network.
If I remember I used to be able to make the receiver flash red when the power button was pressed, its currently dead.

I also remember (many years aga) running though this:

But "rc.local" doesnt appear to exist any longer?
