Youtube stopped working a few weeks ago and I keep getting the error referenced above. I upgraded to Gotham 13.2, uninstalled the addon and reinstalled it from superrepo.org. Still can't seem to resolve the issue. I have searched through the forums and can only find threads of people reporting the error. Is there a solution for this?

If you post a link please be helpful and post a link to where the solution is and not to another post reporting the same problem.

delete the youtube addondata folder and then re enter your details.
i had same issue saying failed. after this all is ok

MAKE SURE ITS THE YOUTUBE ADDON DATA FOLDER

XBMC\userdata\addon_data\ THIS ONE >>>> plugin.video.youtube\
