I've seen some posts talking about copying files to a FireTV to migrate a configuration set up. However, I can't find any instructions on how to actually mount the file system from my PC or Mac.

I've just purchased a FireTv and I'd love to copy my confirm from my acer 1600 running OpenElec. The OE setup shows as an SMB share on both my windows PC & my Mac. If I can get the FireTV to do the same I could just copy my userdata.

You can sideload ES File Explorer to your AFTV and copy your data from your Acer to sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi or /org.xbmc.xbmc/files/.xbmc if your still on Gotham.

You'll need to enable "show hidden files" in ES File Explorer by going to Settings.
