Kodi release for Windows?
#1
Hi guys, thanks for all the hard work in maintaining this WMC PVR - by far the best out there.

Can you give us any insight into the roadmap for the windows plugin for Kodi? No WMC PVR support would be a showstopper for me.

Thanks again!

Gday and thanks for the encouraging words.

We fully support Kodi Helix 14, including the support for PVR backend channel numbering of subchannels (eg 70.1 70.2 etc) and some other tidy ups.

pvr.wmc 0.3.107 should be included in the nightly and beta builds for Helix - Have you found this to not be the case? I haven't checked for a while myself since I build my own...

@scarecrow420 - latest helix beta currently has 0.3.106 included, not 0.3.107

Thanks for the prompt reply scarecrow. I was going off of this statement: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=...pid1838842, but haven't actually tried to download and/or install the beta yet. That's great news if I'm mistaken.

Installed Kodi and, sure enough, WMC is in there. Sorry for the confusion!

Fyi, they must not have done the latest merge yet. No noteworthy changes though in 107

The next features we have (was meant to be 107 but now renumbered as 108) are hdd space reporting and hdhr streaming but they weren't accepted into helix as they aren't crash fixes, so they have to wait until Kodi 14.1. We will have to build our own and put them on our download page at some point
