Music folder not scanned in library mode
#1
I have XBMC Gotham installed and have a large (800+ cd collection) ripped as flac on my QNAP NAS. I access this folder using SAMBA.
However, I can see the collection using Files, but not using Library Mode.
If I scan the folder, it starts but basically does not move forward with scanning, until after a while it stops scanning without any results.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of solving this problem?

Thanks
Maurice

Yes I did. I did as presented in that wiki. But still it will not add the music files to the library.
Other formats (movies series etc) are added to their respective libraries. (mind you, these are stored on a local drive, not on the Network drive).

most people forget todo the context menu option and then scan item to library for the music.

I'm gonna close this thread for now. There seems to be more issues involved with this new installation of XBMC.
I'm gonna do a complete fresh install of Linux and then install XBMC again.

Thanks for your suggestions
