SQL Database in Kodi
#1
Ok I hVe kind of a dumb question. With the release of Kodi drawing closer, will those of us that use SQL have to change the database name from XBMC to Kodi? I'm using OE beta 5 now and haven't che kid my SQL server but it still works. I just wondered if you were phasing out the XBMC name such that we have to manually rename the database.

I suspect like with previous releases the database name will be changed by Kodi. It used to be xbmc_video58 etc., incremented whenever the devs saw fit. Small step from there to call it kodi_video58 or anything else.

Basically, you could check your MySQL server and you would know Smile.
