I had someone telling me that they have a fire TV using X BMC on it and that they can voice search anything they've loaded on there whether it's add-ons or their own content on an external drive. Tamale knowledge I always have thought that you could not voice search because on the two units I have when I click the voice search button it takes you out of Kodi and into the fire TV voice search and then it only searches Amazon content so is there something I'm missing is there some hqck or root I don't know about? He says that it only searches free stuff and that is like I loaded all the stuff on here and I can voice search and everything I want is for you I don't search Amazon content at all.

doubt it, i dont think kodi has native voice support

I do believe there is a way to do that using the YATSE xbmc remote app from the play story.

I looked at the Yatse remote it doesn't seem about voice search but it seems you can do some voice actions.
I keep telling this guy voice search is not yet possible in xbmc/kodi.
