Are the remote clients also running helix rc1? Do recordings also go out of sync?

The client was also updated to RC1. Recordings on the server pc get out of sync too. It seems like they start in sync and the longer they play the more out of sync they get.

Krusty, thanks for checking. It's strange because sometimes it will play a while and be ok then jump out of sync. Sometimes after a pause and resume it will sync back up. I'll keep playing with the settings in Kodi. I'm guessing it's in Kodi or something specific on my pc since the remote clients connect to ServerWMC and are ok. Thanks for making such a good product and letting us all enjoy your hard work!

Next time you have an audio go out of sync - before you stop the stream - go to the directory tempswmc in your recorded tv folder and make a copy of the ts file you see there. Then later play that ts file back with xbmc, if the audio goes out of sync (and it should) submit it as a bug to helix rc1 - especially if you can confirm that gotham plays it fine.

I did what you said with the TS file and it did get out of sync as well. I decided to uninstall Helix and go back to Gotham just to make sure. Now Gotham is doing the same thing. So I guess it's no bug. I'm really confused as to what has happened to this computer. It seems some channels are ok. And sometimes I can pause play and then when it resumes the video will speed up and get back in sync. And all the clients connection thru ServerWMC on this pc work fine.

I fooled with it some more last night and seem to have found the problem. One thing I did around the same time was add a new cheap MCE remote. So I decided to disconnect it and see what happened. As soon as I unplugged the USB of the IR receiver, everything went back to normal. Does that make any sense?

It doesn't make any sense to me, but whatever works!
