Solved Channel Logo Cache Purge?
#1
Using mediaportal back end for PVR, I've created a logos folder and directed the XBMC PVR to it. This works great and the channel logos are all showing in the PVR EPG.

Problem is I didn't like some of the logos so changed them in the folder but everything I've tried will not get XBMC (sorry Kodi) to forget the old one and refresh the logo. I've reset the PVR database via the addon, ran the 'clean library', disabled and re-enabled the PVR addon etc but the old logos persist.

Any idea how to purge the cache?

Thanks

Done some more searching and saw this:

Edit: And also reset the Live TV database under the Live Tv settings.

I'll try tonight and update the thread if this is successful.

To close the loop, I deleted the .png images in the thumbnails folder. I only removed the .png's as that's what the TV channel icons were, the other thumbnails were all .jpg's so was easy to differentiate.

Simples.

I too was having this issue and tried removing the png files. I also needed delete the textures database and restart. Everything refreshed on startup.
Code:
rm $HOME/.kodi/userdata/Thumbnails/*/*.png
rm $HOME/.kodi/userdata/Database/Textures13.db
sudo shutdown -ry 0
Kodi 15.2
