btw @herhelman you could also get yourself and HDMI splitter + HDMI extender/HDMI over cat5-cat6 adapters/Tripp lite (yes, different products for same purpose) to output your HTPC display to both Projector in your livingroom and TV in your bedroom. That way you don't need to spend in 2 HTPCs. I'm just giving another option for your setup.

Another and most simple solution would be to connect hdmi to eather your projector or TV and display port to the other one, yet you'll need a large Display Port to HDMI cable.

I know the hdmi stuff and splitter, I work on audio and video rental, so splitters are part of my daily life!! jaja

But, i prefer to have 2 units...one in main tv to play movies, for example for my daughter and the other for the projector... anyway, i sold 2 media players here in Argentina and i have the money to buy 2 new ones... maybe I will go for a kdlinks hd700 and wait for android boxes get mature with 3d iso....i will be a matter of short time...probaly new 2015 celerons will do the job..

Also, i want to set an standard at home, i could playback a movie by pressing play and with the other hand grabbing another remote and with one of my foot turn on the subwooofer !! but i want a simple device that my wife and daughter could use as simple as the TV remote or a DVD/blu ray player....

Thanks again, BTW, i purchased an EWEAT 902, realtket 1195 based , on ebay for 65, i will test in next week (I will be in USA) and wait for upgrades....i read that 1195 has an excellent image quality...but has a lot of bugs...and no HD yet...

VidOn Box supports all of what you want, 24p, 3D blu-ray iso playback and HD Audio Passthrough, and... no fancy interface.

because it has serious buffering problems... and you promise to fix them.....but, reading "latest vidon..." thread... it´s still not solved.... correct me if I am wrong...i will love to purchase 2 vidon boxes, one for HT room and the other for the everyday TV....

BTW, we have solved the 3D blu-ray buffering issue in the latest version of VidOn XBMC and VMC.

I´m in this forum for about a month.

I live away from USA and technology here it´s quite expensive, and dollar exchange is pretty high.

So, i sold all my media players to buy a Kodi player... I have a Panasonic AE8000 Projector (huge sacrifice for me) and a 3d led tv.

I´m just asking for a good player that´s support 24p, 3d iso and HD audio.... not gaming...not fancy interface... nothing...

My old micca ep600 managed 3D blu ray ISO and HD audio perfectly... almost no problems using wired ethernet but old interface, no more upgrades, no more youtube...

90 bucks WD TV live works flawlessly except for 3d ISO....

BUT i cannot find a KODI device that do all that stuff MIcca performed 2 years ago....

An i3 computer or i3 nuc of course will do...but at 300 to 400 dollars...and i need 2 of them.... so 700 to 800 bucks it´s a lot of money...

vidon box it´s stopped on pits...

realtek 1195 also got stuck without HD audio and millions of bugs...

I will be in USA on Xmas and I will have the chance to buy players.... any suggestions?

for my experience if you want see FULL 3D iso the best choice PCH A-400 o HD dune (sigma is better realtek).

X86 GPU + windows + external player (powerDVD, TMT, etc) is not good way:
- not external ISO subtitle support from windows software, like *.srt
- not easy: mount iso in windows, active 3d driver , launch player, set right HD Audio Passthrough, ect.. very long time!
- X86 HTPC( GPU with MVC support ) + windows + external player it's more expensive than PCH/dune

the best way for me is PCH/dune + raspi ( economy xbmc ) ,it's the good way to have F3D and xbmc.
