Does any one know of there is a skin that shows actors in a movie, or is this not a skit feature but a system feature? All the skins I've tried show director, plot, etc but nothing about actors in a film.

In the movie information screen? Most skins have the actors in there. You can usually toggle from movie info to actors with a button.

I am using a PS3 remote, so perhaps my navigation is limited, or I don't know what buttons to press.

Not on remote. In the info dialog. It's the "cast" button here in Confluence. It switches out the plot for the actors.
