Hardware upgrade Nvidia Geforce GTX750ti / quality of deinterlacing
#1
currently I use a i3 4330 with a HD4600 on board and vaapi-sse4: Deinterlacing from fritsch for LiveTV.
But now my "little" son becomes older and want's to play some Wii sportgames... So I installed the
Dolphin-Emu. But for this my HD4600 is not strong enough. So I thinking about a Nvidia Geforce GTX750ti.
From Dolphin POV it would be okay to play in HD but for me it's also important to know the KODI POV.

I think that card should have no problem with deinterlacing (temporal/spatial), haven't it?

What do you think?

I've upgrade my HTPC wirh a KAF² GeForce GTX750ti. I tried to install the Nvidia Driver by using

Code:
sudo apt-get install nvidia-346
but I allways get a problem with the lightdm login screen. The only way to install and get it work was

Code:
sudo apt-get install --no-install-recommends nvidia-346

So far so good... I can use spatial/temporal for deinterlacing But I'm not sure if everything works right because sometimes
it looks like pixel arround wordings ans splash arround the players when I'm watching soccer...

dmesg | pastebinit
cat ~/.kodi/temp/kodi.log | pastebinit
cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | pastebinit
DISPLAY=:0 vdpauinfo | pastebinit
dpkg -l |grep mesa | pastebinit
id | pastebinit
aplay -L | pastebinit

Can anybody see if something is missing or wrong?
