I have FIXED the problem just to let everyone know = settings-video-accelaration-decoding method- Turn To SOFTWARE, exit kodi and restart.
Now video will be in middle of screen.

I have a measy box. Did video calibrating for my old crt TV and noticed that only Live TV (and recordings) was displayed wrong. Changing this setting fixed it.

are you saying that kodi will run in 4k without  even though the greyed out resolution is at 720p? when i switch my android player to 4k my switches automaticlly. so does kodi do the same thing?
