Hi,
After enabling the live tv option in the live settings menu
I don't see it in the main menu. I didn't find any option to make the live tv
option to be displayed.
besides that, there was not a problem to enable a PVR client.
I'm using the Kodi helix version, on windows 8.1.

Make sure your pvr client is actually enabled.
If still no "TV" menu entry on home screen, then it sounds like the pvr didn't actually start. Debug log probably needed to learn more.

Hi,
I don't think it's connected since on Gotham 12 version you can have the tv option in the menu,
even if no PVR is enabled. and yes, the simple pvr client is working.

I just changed to the Titan skin and Live tv shows up again

Suddenly after openning Kodi again. the simple PVR client asks to be updated. I press YES. and it starts working.
since then it works. and the TV option is on the menu.
I must comment that on Gotham version, it acts almost the same.
the tv option is on the menu but there are no channels until the PVR client asks permission to do an update.
and then it starts to work.
it takes few runs of the software until the PVR asks this question.

I have found that with 14.0 RC3, if the pvr client can't connect to my WMC back end server, the TV option disappears from the main menu. Once the connection is working again, it returns. A bit unnerving when you're troubleshooting.
