Hi

I'm new to XBMC/Kodi. I recently purchased a MX-2 Android box and am trying to flash it to OpenElec kodi and no luck. Can anybody please give me a step by step setup? I've tried YouTube and tried to flash to Linux Gotham but when i go to turn off box it won't turn back on. I have to disconnect power on back and connect and i get a fuzzyscreen. Thanks everybody,. You can probably also get better support of flashing Android and Linux onto these boxes on the Freaktab community forums

Anyway, there is no official support for OpenELEC on these boxes yet, OpenELEC are only now working on adding support for their first AMLogic based Android box together with the manufacturer of that box, WeTek, who sponsor the OpenELEC project. And therefor it will probably be a quite a while before you can flash OpenELEC to just any old AMLogic based Android box, if ever.

So unless you are a Android firmware developer yourself and can compile Codesnake's fork yourself then you are out of luck for now when it comes to trying to use OpenELEC on just any old AMLogic based Android box https://github.com/codesnake/OpenELEC.tv
