I'm a newbie here and would love to clone my android mx3box setup to my dads new empty mx3 android box . All my addons and all easily ... Is there a way ?

Sure, just use the Backup add-on. Go into Settings -> Add-ons -> Get add-ons -> XBMC.org/Kodi.tv add-ons -> Programs -> Backup add-on
