i it possible to add a deduplication feature into kodi?
if there are more than one version of a movie...get rid of 2nd version or (better) provide an option to show version A or version B of this movie.
what do you think?

I started working on this a while ago but there are a lot of pitfalls where it's anything but obvious what the default behaviour should be. An example is if you choose to play a whole folder/directory containing a movie that you have multiple versions of. Which version do you play and why?
I still plan on finishing this but it's not my top priority right now.
