Kodi PPA packages missing dependencies?
#1
Hi, has anyone successfully installed the brand new 14.0 stable packages from the PPA?

In Ubuntu 14.10 (utopic) the kodi package fails to install for me because it can't find the dependent package libafpclient0.
In 12.04 (precise), it's the kodi-bin package instead that depends on libsdl2, which is likewise nowhere to be found...

I have exactly the same problem. Trying to upgrade from XBMC 13.2 to Kodi 14.0 on a Ubunt 14.10 system. It says it cannot install Kodi because a required package is missing (libafpclient0)

Does anyone know how to fix this?

whats the exact error? if it was the same, you wouldn't get it anymore, since it is fixed.
