Hi,
I have a nexus player with the kodi stable release installed (x86). I'm using the mythtv plugin for the backend integration.
When playing live tv with the de-interlace options all set to auto, the video eventually gets out of sync with the audio and begins to stutter (by which I mean plays at one speed then another for a short time and then back).
I have had limited success by choosing software blend as the de-interlace method, however, that will work for a little while before either Kodi exits completely or the video quality and sync get out of whack.
By turning de-interlace off altogether, I can watch live tv without these issues (although I see the interlacing artefacts). My only other issue here is that Kodi abruptly exits and returns me to the Android home screen without message or warning. I think these things may be related.
I have checked in the advanced settings that hardware acceleration is enabled.
Tearing my hair on on this one.
I am fairly new to Kodi, so if there are some logging options to turn on and a place to find the logs, happy to be told and post them up.
