Linux Kodi 14 Crashing (logs provided)
#1
After recently rebooting my machine (Ubuntu 14.04 minimal) and then starting Kodi, it crashes appx 30 seconds after loading and it happens at the same time every time I try to run Kodi. I have tried removing a few recently updated addons that I can remember updated themselves which hasn't solved the problem. Here are my logs;

dmesg - http://paste.ubuntu.com/9650848/
kodi.log - http://paste.ubuntu.com/9650858/
xorg.0.log - http://paste.ubuntu.com/9650860/
kodi crash log - http://paste.ubuntu.com/9650883/

Please remove: 08:11:32 T:140183614486464 INFO: CheckIdle - Closing session to http://bluecop-xbmc-repo.googlecode.com

from your addon repository.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Sorry this one: http://carb0s-repo.googlecode.com

It's plain illegal and was taken down.

Thanks Fritsch, removed the repository - repository.bluecop.xbmc-plugins. Restarted and crashed again. If I start kodi from the command line it leaves me with "segmentation fault (core dumped). When I looked through dmesg earlier it reported segfaults with libsqlite3.so.0.8.6 & libc-2.19.so. Unfortunately a google search of those lib files and segfault doesn't report anything that would give me an idea.

Awesome fritsch, danke. I removed the carb0s repo and no crashing. Wish I would have removed repositories also before reporting all of this. Happy New Year.

donk69: yes fritsch's suggestion above to remove http://carb0s-repo.googlecode.com repository in the addons directory fixed the issue for me.
