For me bucking all movies Modes when I put under the display system to 1920x1080p at 1600x900p I have found only a slight stutter. All this runs on Mac Mini with 8GB Ram, OSX.10.2 via HDMI to a Samsung TV 55UES8090.
Under 13.2 Gotham all movies play smoothly.

Does anyone have any advice for me?
