WIP Blu-ray Disc Java menus support
just to confirm what others have said seems to be some regression on films and as mentioned before avengers is one of them, still no luck with lionsgate and screen pass protected films though

is there a recommended java install needed by chance?

Unfortunately it's only in english, no other languages can be choosen!!!
In Isengard, Languages are now addons, you need go to appearances, international, select your language and install on the fly.

there's only english in the list and it couldn't reach the server!

edit: now it's working (strange!)

As stated in the first post ...

Quote:Known issues:
  • iso files with bdj menus don't start/work (mount them with a virtual drive tool)
Colazione da Tiffay (italian version of Breakfast at Tiffany)
Hangs after choosing language.
Thanks ACE! It works very well. The bluray menu is no longer lagged. With this improvement, Kodi is now a perfect multimedia solution especially for those who have many concert bluray ISO.

Any chance that the android version will have the same treat?
Attempting to compile the BDJ branch on a fresh Fedora 22 install getting an error from stdbool.h
Code:
In file included from dirname.h:22:0,
                 from argp-namefrob.h:169,
                 from argp-fmtstream.c:34:
./stdbool.h:104:70: error: expected ‘;’, identifier or ‘(’ before ‘_Bool’
typedef enum { _Bool_must_promote_to_int = -1, false = 0, true = 1 } _Bool;

I notice the guys on Arch AUR are having a similar issue - is Kodi just not able to be built at the moment? Or is it to do with Fed22 moving to GCC5?

But somebody know where get the latest binary windows buil for libaacs and libbdplus?
Hey there,

It seems the build linked in the first post suffers from an issue with network access for AddOns.

No Streaming AddOn works for me.

Issue is described here: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=221269
... when will BD-J support be part of the main branch?

I'm really missing this feature. Undecided

Huh

... is this more a question of months or years?

The more people have the chance to test this feature, the faster we will get this to work.

... I have tested the Windows-Version linked in post #1.

Great!! Great!! Exactly the right direction. Not yet perfect, but very good progress. Thank you very much, Ace.

Is there a openelec version available? Or can I somehow compile these changes (easily) into an existing openelec-installation?

Basically, this BD-J version makes Kodi almost perfect for me. Actually, I would pay quite some money for Kodi with a proper BD-J implementation.
