As an older user the font choice and style in the official app is all but unreadable. Trying to convert older family members is difficult as they certainly can't read it. My proposal is even if the same font is kept to just make it slightly larger and place the text on the buttons themselves like a lot of "real world" remotes do. Something like this.
Just an ugly mockup, and I just used the first font I could find with decent serifs on the capital "I", but you get the idea. Even the current font just slightly larger would make it a lot more useful.
I couldn't find anything by searching so point me in the right direction and I'll head there. If it's possible I'd be willing to skin it myself if need be. Thanks.
