Green Flashing During Commercials
#1
On Win 8.1 and Kodi 14. Since u;grading to Helix, when commercials happen, I see green flashes. It's basically a solid green screen that flashes for a half second or more/less. Strangely, this just happens during commercials. I'm only watching HD channels so not sure if it happens on SD channels. Am not sure what I can provide to help troubleshoot this?

I think another user complained about this problem recently too (although I don't recall it only happening during commercials). If I am right, the fix was to turn off hardware acceleration in the video settings of kodi. I think its settings>video>acceleration (you may need to turn on expert settings).

Give this a go:
Use the OSD and turn off de interlacing from auto. If your hardware can run the video, let it do so. Don't suck up CPU time with software rendering depending on your gear.

Worked for me
