hi guys. firstly, thanks to all for a great product. secondly, i just jailbroke 2 ipad2s that are identical and have no issues streaming and whatever. works as well as my appletv2. one ipad i can see the text im typing in a bar above the virtual keyboard, the other it is missing and i can not see what im typing. i went thru alll settings on kodi and in the ipad itself and they are all the same. can someone please tell me what im missing?

Sorry, I thought I had added the info, but I had forgotten. I believe all you need to do is make sure you are on the default iOS keyboard and not one of the optional/3rd party keyboards. Maybe even toggle between them and then re-open Kodi.

no need for sorry. i appreciate your help. i figured it out. the keyboad icon on the keyboard itself gives the option to split, etc. i split and then put back to normal and it was there. thanks again.
