I tried to understand the thread above (!) and the linked posts, but anyway, the consensus seems to be that the memory leakage problem lies in either the Windows 8.1 OS itself or the Intel driver. The only solution offered in the thread (see pp. 5 & 6) is to roll back Windows 8.1 to Windows 8.0 where low memory errors are apparently not being reported.
Not a great solution but maybe that's where we stand until Windows 10 arrives.

If you'd read those links you would see on the Intel forum they claimed it was fixed in November and having the latest updates on Windows would see it resolved....
