Did you do anythings in the last 0.3.111 version?
But is still the same error.

No, the fix will have to be in serverwmc not the kodi addon. Still working it, hang on.

Just installed the test version but I'm sorry to say, with default settings I still get the "No video" error message.

Here's the log: ServerWMC-Debug1178ChannelDetail.log

With the temporary setting it still works okay (apart from the 20 seconds start delay).

I see my mistake. Let's try that again, I will send you another build.

Yes! This works with default settings in config.xml.

BUT (Undecided) as you can hear in this sample (tested with a Windows version of Kodi): SkyRadio1179.wma

There now is an irregular drop out in the sound (in this sample at 0:13 and 0:18). Sometimes a few with seconds and then a minute okay and then again a few shortly after another.
As I'm going to bed now (it's 1:28 AM now, alarm goes off at 7:00), I will do some more testing tomorrow with the OpenELEC PC in the livingroom.

All I can think is that the dropout was due to buffering. Test this when you can.

I've just checked with OpenELEC 5.0.0 in the livingroom and the dropouts are the same.
After 3-4 dropouts (all within the first two minutes) the stream seems stable.

So I think we can consider this "bug" fixed, thank you!

When looking into this when you first reported it etc, I actually noticed i got a few drop outs (on one specific digital audio channel) in the first couple of minutes but then no further problems after that (as you say, it seems to stabilise). Interesting that you get the same behaviour. is it on all of your audio channels or just one/some?

@scarecrow420:
I've checked every radiostation in my list and they all suffer from the same dropouts in the first 2 minutes. After these first 2 minutes I haven't noticed any more dropouts. Yeah I guess it has something to do with buffering but I didn't have the dropouts when I had 1175 running with the config.xls changes Krusty adviced in the beginning of this thread. But as Heiko just said, it's no deal breaker. I don't really bother with a few dropouts in the first 2 minutes.

It is necessary, that you changed a lot, whether the first read of channels, recordes till epg is now very fast.

I am experiencing similar issues as the OP. I get "No Video Data found on this channel" or "Live TV Timed Out" when trying to play any Freesat radio station. TV works great. Radio plays fine on WMC via XBox 360 extender and in use for 8+ years.

I am running latest versions (afaik) on MrMC build of Kodi, issue occurs on both AppleTV4 & iPad
serverWMC = 1.0.0.60 build 1228
PVR WMC client = 0.6.6

I have tried changing C:\ProgramData\VDSoftware\ServerWMC\config.xml then restarting ServerWMC

<TreatRadioChannelsAsTV>true</TreatRadioChannelsAsTV>
+
<ForcedRadioChannels>58,59,60</ForcedRadioChannels>

but changing either of these settings causes the Kodi Client to fail to load up. I just get "No PVR clients have been started yet..." when going into LiveTV. On the ServerWMC Status tab it says Totals of items transferred to clients: channels 4. Normally with the default config.xml it would say 75. Looking at the logs it looks as if the client just dies when either of these settings are changed.

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

IIRC you want to set TreatRadioChannelsAsTV to false and set the ForcedRadioChannels to the channel numbers that you want treated as radio. If that is causing problems, then post the serverwmc log (see the debug tab in serverwmc log).
