I found an awsome tool that permit to broadcast all video streams (tv, movies, dvd, video camera...) on Kodi. It's an AirPlay broadcaster like iTune for AppleTv but easy to use.
You can zap movies with your smartphone like a remote.
It's very usefull when my wife wants to watch a movie "NOW !!".
I give her my smartphone and she zaps movies as she wants. And during this time, I'm free.
