Hi,

I'm on Frodo 12.2 and would like a PVR recommended in order to watch live tv.

I have no idea what clients are recommended on this older version of xbmc that I am on.

I would upgrade but I am terrified that I will loose all my settings and customisations (fanart of films and music) if I upgrade.

Are you using a local database or shared mysql database? How many clients do you have? What OS are they on?

Most pvr addons had support for frodo but obviously won't contain latest features and improvements. Picking an addon/backend has various other decisions/situations that influence the decision such as what tuners you have, what hardware/OS you use and where you live or even personal preference, rather than which XBMC version you have

ServerWMC works with frodo but so do other backends


However I would suggest rather than shying away from upgrading, Just back everything up and upgrade (perhaps to gotham 13.2 rrather than helix), if anything goes wrong, restore the backup
