I have been using these "unofficial" OpenElec builds on a Matricom G-box Q (with the Amlogic M8 S802 processor) for months now, with excellent results. You would install by downloading a zip file from the above link and extracting the files to your SD card and then doing the "toothpick recovery" method.

The only downside of these OpenElec builds is that they aren't updated all that frequently, so the current most recent M8 build on that link is still running Kodi 15.2. There actually is a Jarvis version in the works, but I tried it a while back and only one core out of the four was operational, so it's not one I would recommend at the moment.
