If you try to play this though file browser (rather than tvshows library) does it play?

If you extract the rar fail does the video file inside play?

Hi Popcornmix,

Yes the file seems to play if I Unrar and use the file browers.
However does not work if I have not unrarred it.

Do you know what this means? Or do I need to unrar my entire archive?

Ok. the following worked for me:

Settings -> Appearance -> File lists -> Support browsing into archives.
Delete your old mappings from Kodi to the files
Rescan the archives
