I purchased a Mele F10 deluxe RF remote for my XBMCbuntu HTPC. It is an excellent remote and even controls my basic TV functions via IR.
The problem I'm having however, is that it sometimes stops working for XBMC almost entirely. I am no longer able to navigate, or use any basic functions within XBMC. The only function that works is the secondary power button which sends a shutdown command to XBMC. I then need to get up, and go over and turn the HTPC back on manually. Once booted up the remote works normally again.
Sometimes this doesn't happen for extended periods of time. Other times it will happen after every episode or two that I watch. Often it will happen after starting the episode but before it finishes, where the episode will continue playing normally but I will be unable to pause/rewind/forward/etc.
Has anyone else noticed this problem with this remote (or with any other remote)?
Was anyone able to fix this problem?
Does anyone have any ideas of what I could try to do to fix it?
