Thank you for a great product!

I have serverWMC installed on my W8.1 - HTPC, along with WMC and it works great for browser viewing.

However I'm having trouble setting up my openELEC Rasberry Pi. It appears to be working, as I can see the LED on the HDHR Prime tuner turn on briefly when I select a channel. Then it turns off almost instantaneously without displaying any video. I appreciate your help with this issue!

It's likely a dns or share permission problem between Linux and Windows

This is the path the rpi is told to use and it can't access it
'smb://GREENROOM/Recorded TV/TempSWMC/LiveTV_OpenELEC01_ClearQAM_509_2015_01_14_22_14_03.ts'

So either it can't resolve "greenroom" (eieither get dns working or specify ip address rather than servername in ServerWMC folder path) or you need to specify user/pwd in ServerWMC of a windows user with access to the recorded tv share (which will then be added to the smb url sent to the client)

Hello,

goto Setting - Filemanager and create a Connection to smb://GREENROOM/Recorded TV within the same Login/Password which you use in serverwmc.
or look here: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=...pid1631793

I hope after that you can watch tv. Blush

Yup... It was a permissions issue. Thank you for the help! I am now happily enjoying viewing TV on my RPi.
