the base model costs more the 4gb is the cheepest i can get the asus for in the uk that i can find which seams strange.

Hmm decided to just get another pi for now i expect there will be a range of devices this year which might catch my eye

Maybe a cubox. Gig Ethernet, optical output, full HDMI CEC. 2gb ram, quad CPU. Actually, soon I'll do a detailed comparison vs RPI... When my cubox arrives.
